Disciplinary System and General/Transitional Provisions
Article (39)
Student Disciplinary System:The provisions of the Universities Organization Law No. 49 of 1972 and its executive regulations regarding student disciplinary systems apply where this regulation is silent.
Article (40)
Transitional Provisions:The Academic Council, after consulting the Faculty Council, establishes the transitional rules and procedures for applying the new study plan after its equivalence is approved by the Supreme Council of Universities.
Article (41)
Course Distribution:The Faculty Council, after consulting the relevant departmental councils, determines the distribution of courses across academic levels (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year), their prerequisites, and repetition schedule according to study plan requirements and available resources.
Article (42)
Supplementary Policies:The Academic Council, after consulting the Faculty Council, sets complementary policies, rules, and procedures to ensure smooth educational processes and enhance quality.
Article (43)
Department Responsibilities:The Faculty Council defines the responsibilities of each academic department for supervising and teaching courses included in this regulation, as well as elective courses not part of the formal departmental programs.
Article (44)
Law Application:The provisions of Law No. 49 of 1972 on universities and its executive regulations, as well as future amendments, apply to the Faculty where this regulation is silent.
